I love it, I know everything going on with my kids.

Monitoring your childs text & call activity is an extremely helpful tool for parents. Unfortunately, this app is a great disappointment.

I hate babysitting my daughters activities, but its part of the job as a parent. Shows phone calls, texts from all her buddies. Then I can guess where she is when shes supposed to be home. Just a smidgen of peace of mind.

I cant open the app and I cant delete it! It is grayed out and says "waiting." It is about as user friendly as Verizons website and app! I love my Verizon service but their apps and website leave a lot to be desired! How can I get this app off of my phone???

Very helpful in tracking activities

I absolutely love this app!! It pretty much covers all the activity on their line AND stores all their contacts! I love that I can pick and choose what alerts and reports I receive and the frequency in receiving them, such as immediately, daily, weekly etc. As Ive always thought, believe and share with people.....Verizon Wireless and the services they offer are hands down the very best on the market!!! Thank you for the FamilyBase App Verizon!!!!!

Its a good app to be able to check who my child is texting and when. I like the alerts I can receive if a contact from my watch list contacts them. If you need to see the actual texts on your childs phone I suggest Teensafe.

This app is very poorly designed and very cumbersome to use. It does allow you to monitor and set limits on a device as advertised. For $5 per line I would only recommend it as a last option.

Very poor app! Not intuitive at all. Trying to navigate between 8 phones to change settings is a nightmare. Feel like programmers who wrote this have never tried to use it on a regular basis. Does not flow, Its slow, and there are too many steps to select the phone you want then even more to make changes. Im relatively computer literate and this app is not intuitive. Its impossible for my wife to use. I want to just pick my phone number from a list that shows them all at once, then make the changes I want. Too cumbersome. Hate it! Programmers should be fired for even writing such garbage as well as anyone who approved it for use! Does not give me much confidence in Verizon if this is the best they can produce! ......so just downloaded the update! Wow! No changes! Does nobody from Verizon read these reviews!

Great to finally have control over the apple ios! The end user ui is clunky and having to authentic repeatedly to manage controls makes it hard to take advantage of blocking specific lines or establishing usage limits.

Pretty sure every single positive review of this is fake. This terrible waste of time is absolutely useless. It tells you nothing, is impossible to navigate and forces you to sign in repeatedly. What a joke.

1) app only works on subset phones- you cant monitor owners phone. 2) to cancel you MUST phone verizon- get real! This service does not display in your account where you can shut it down or enable it. 3) this product really should be a free service as no detail is given through the normal accounts such as daily usage.

Very poor effort for this app. The interface lets you do about 25% of the web based portal rendering it almost useless. The UI is buggy and often renders buttons or tabs named "Button1" instead of an actual name. Worst yet, the companion app for children is NOT supported on iOS, so if your kids have iPhones you barely get any useful monitoring. This whole app package is bad advertisement and borderline intentionally deceiving.

What a crappy app and not easily used such as setting time limits When I want to switch within the app is constantly asks me to enter my ID and password all over again even if I did 30 seconds ago. To access the controls you have to know exactly where to go otherwise its not apparent if you want to change time restrictions I have to call tech-support to find out where it was hidden. I tried to unblock numbers and it wouldnt Let me. I dont understand how people write apps like this for Verizon and make money in doing so. This is an amateurish hodgepodge app and it doesnt work half the time

Very Disappointing, never shows complete or up to date info

In concept, this app sounds great. Unfortunately it provides very little access to what you want and provides access to what you dont want. It kept putting locks on my phone account but would not put locks on my childrens phone account. The administrator/parent should have full authorization to the accounts. Seems either very buggy or the interface is so poorly designed that you cant understand how to work it. Note to app designer: with all the free apps in the world, and paid apps especially, you must win the customers acceptance within the first 60 seconds or its trashed. I gave it 20 minutes and still had to trash it. Verizon: your a solid company and provide a robust service. Dont slip on the details.

I am a geek and I find the app difficult to use. I also havent found a way to adjust data limits, which is the biggest reason for me using FamilyBase.

This rating is not just for the app. It is for the entire program. I have used it on this app and online. They never show completed or up to date list of texts and calls. And the watchlist that is supposed to notify you each time does not. This is a scam and a rip off from Verizon. They should not be allowed to charge a monthly fee for a program that barely works!!! I think it could be a great monitoring app and program for kids but it doesnt work!!! Do not waste your money!!!

Its real simple, since I did the update yesterday I cannot keep the app open long enough to use it! Fix that problem please!
