Useless app, it tells you noting but a time and date, do not use this app!!

This is the most frustrating app I have ever dealt with. I was truly excited about the opportunity to monitor my kids activity and set limits, but this app is almost unusable. Every time I try to go into usage limits, I get an error message and a redirect. I honestly wonder if they make it impossible to set limits so that they can keep overcharging us for data overages. And whats the deal with the time restrictions? I obviously would like to restrict my kids phones during night time hours, but the app will only let me restrict daytime hours?? What good does that do me?? Oh, and the lockout doesnt work on iPhones?? I had such high hopes. Useless. Seriously, Verizon. We pay a lot for your service. We expect better.

Needs to be a way to view/monitor texts. Im a paranoid parent Ive seen and read horror stories about texting and picture sharing. I want to ensure my child is safe.

I use this tool to manage data usage. However, it helps manage the account activity which should be very helpful to parents and guardians with young kids. I recommend this tool.

This is a great app to keep in contact with who your kids are talking too and how often. If you want them to not be on there phones at particular times you can control that. Its a very useful app.

Easy to use once you get the hang of it and very handy features.

Doesnt update -erases data -doesnt half work

Extremely hard to navigate and good luck finding where/how to set data limits on each line. Really nice that not only do you have to pay for family base but the app is worthless as well.

Confusing and unfriendly to users. Much easier to sign-on to the actual website rather than using this app (isnt the app supposed to make the use easier?!?). Im not sure why Verizon hasnt fixed/updated this horrible app.... Its not like they cant afford it! They charged me $5/month just to have this service!

My teenager is cognitively delayed but loves having a smart phone. This app helps me protect him from unwanted contact. As soon as I see an unknown number making contact with him I can shut it down. Without apps like this he would not be able to enjoy the freedom of having a phone like his peers.

All I want to do is control data usage on my lines. But sometimes I need to move the limits up or down a little. What a process! The app is SO hard to navigate. You have to click on ten different things to finally get to the right place. Looking forward to an upgrade. Verizon just remade their main app and its so much better. No longer outdated like this one.

App worked great via mobile app or desktop up until about 2 months ago. Now it never shows activity or days check back later when I know my kid is always on his phone. I reported it Verizon but they havent fixed the problem yet. Im done wasting money on a feature that doesnt work.

This app is really disappointing. Confusing. Im paying 4.99/mo. For this feature. I spent so much time trying to figure out how to toggle phone settings on/off, adjust limits, switch to different menus...so badly organized. I really do feel like you folks can provide a better user friendly app especially since customers are paying for this family base feature monthly. Hoping with the launch of the new Verizon app, this app will finally get a much needed upgrade too.

I got an Iphone 6s plus and Verizon employee told me to help with data overuse to get this app. Tryed putting in my info wouldnt take . Went in the branch part the man said free for 30 days than $4.99 a month . Im NOT paying for something should be free. Rip off

This app is absolutely aggravating & useless!! It sends you on endless loops & achieves nothing. The restrictions I had, on one line, I removed months ago but theyre still on that phone?! The concept would be so awesome if the thing actually worked....it does NOT!!! Please Verizon, fix this app!!!

Very cumbersome to use. Now I have to use the website online. Also is not showing all my numbers for my account.

Like the other reviewers said, the design is poor. The first time I logged in I was able to set data usage limits. I got an alert about reaching the limit, but it didnt give a number I logged into see and of course that option isnt there anymore. Also we have a family plan, my husband, myself and my daughter and only one account can be set as "parent". Once you sign into the app the only thing you can see is the childs message and call logs and clicking on anything else in the menu brings you to the main Verizon wireless App. I have yet to be able to see her data usage. Once my trial is up I will not pay 4.99 for an app that half works. FYI:I have an IPhone 6s plus

Make it simpler to access data limits. I have to use a lot of clicks to get to this function. I always forget how to do it and have to relearn it. I would like to be able to select a line and then see usage limits without having to remember a lot of drop down options
